South African actress Connie Chiume, known for her roles in the Black Panther films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, passed away on Tuesday (August 6) at the age of 72.
The news of her death was confirmed on the actress’s official Instagram account. "The Chiume family is saddened to announce the passing of internationally acclaimed actress Connie Chiume," the post read. "Connie Chiume, 72, passed away at Garden City Hospital today, August 6, 2024. The family asks for privacy during this difficult time."
