Nicolas Cage has gone from car thief to Marvel hero, and from treasure-seeking adventurer to now facing creatures that attack at night in "Arcadian," a post-apocalyptic horror-action film. Watch the trailer above.
The story, which blends elements of "A Quiet Place" with works like "Bird Box" and "The World After Us," follows a father (Cage) who lives comfortably with his twin children on their farm during the day. However, when night falls, they must defend themselves against chaos caused by the creatures. Things take a turn when he is injured, prompting his children to devise a desperate survival plan.
Directed by Benjamin Brewer, "Arcadian" features a young cast alongside Cage, including Jaeden Martell (It), Maxwell Jenkins (Lost in Space), and Sadie Soverall (Saltburn).
The film will premiere at SXSW on March 11 and hits US theaters on April 12.
